Philippines Outreach

   Philippines Outreach is a mission society with a focus on reaching the poor and needy living in the Philippine Islands and beyond with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Philippines Outreach is overseen by Derek and Celi Johns and is sponsored by various churches and also individuals in the Eastman, Georgia/Middle Georgia area of the USA. Derek is originally from Eastman. He and Celi have served as missionaries in the Philippines for almost 25 years. Derek and Celi also serve as volunteers with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in the Philippines. On this website you will find more information about outreach and ministry in the Philippines. We dedicate everything to the glory and honor of the living God. May He be praised forever and ever!

What We Do

Philippines Outreach attempts to both share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and show the Gospel through practical demonstrations of the love of God to those in need.

We do this through some of the following ministries:

• Student Sponsorship
• Tuberculosis Treatment
• Clothing Ministry - Providing Clothing to the Needy
• Providing Housing, Love and Care For Needy Youth
• Church Planting and Assistance
• Street preaching - Taking the Gospel to public areas around the Philippines
• Missionary Assistance - Supporting Filipino Missionaries and Christian Workers and also foreign missionaries.
• Short Term Mission Trips - Hosting visiting short term missionaries and mission teams from the USA, the Philippines and other countries.
• Samar Outreach
